Streamwood Park District

Shady Oaks The Streamwood Park District is a separate municipal governing agency established for the purpose of providing park facilities and leisure programs for residents. The Park District is responsible for the maintenance, operation and administration of parks and park facilities. The Park District presently owns and maintains over 230 acres of land at 34 locations. Major facilities include the Community Center, Park Place Family Recreation Center, the Hoosier Grove Barn Banquet Facility, the Schoolhouse Museum, and one outdoor swimming pool. More than 350 recreation programs are offered each year to individuals of all ages, interest and abilities. Seasonal brochures describing these opportunities are mailed directly to all residents of Streamwood. Brochures, as well as additional program and special event flyers, are available at the Administrative Office and at the major facilities.

The Streamwood Park District Administrative Office located at 777 South Bartlett Road, in Streamwood. Regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Saturday, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. In addition to regular hours the registration office is open Tuesday and Thursday evenings until 8:00 pm. The Streamwood Community Center is also located at 777 South Bartlett Road. The Park Place Family Recreation Center is located at 550 South Park Boulevard.
