Residents may pick up two free Compact Fluorescent light bulbs at the Village Hall cashier's counter during normal business hours.

AARP Driver Safety Program for seniors will be held Thursday and Friday, Aug. 21-22, 2008 (both days must be attended), at the Streamwood Police Department training room, 401 E. Irving Park Road, 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. ($10 cost for materials).  Register with Commander Dan Barnes at 630-736-3701.

Beware of Requests for Donations - The Streamwood Police Department has been advised that the Illinois Council of Police and Sheriffs (ICOPS) is soliciting residents for donations and indicating that the donations benefit the Streamwood Police Department.  The Streamwood Police Department does not solicit donations, nor encourage donations to any police related organization.
