NWHP Rehabilitation Program
The Village has contracted with the Northwest Housing Partnership (NWHP) to provide residential rehabilitation services for our residents. NWHP is a regional organization operating the Cook County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Single-family Residential Rehabilitation Program. This program provides grants to income-eligible homeowners to make code-related repairs to their homes.
Qualified homeowners may be eligible for a 0% interest deferred loan, up to a maximum amount of $25,000 with no monthly payments, as long as the homeowner lives in, and retains title to, the home. To qualify, you must be a resident of Streamwood, own and live in the home to be repaired, and meet certain income guidelines.
Pre-applications are available at Village Hall.
