Court Hearings

Depending on the actions taken by the police, citizens may have to attend court hearings at the 3rd District Court in Rolling Meadows, or a local administrative hearing in the Police Department.

Local Administrative Hearings

Administrative Hearings are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month. These are for civil violation hearings and not criminal in nature. They are held to determine cause for certain violations of the Village Code.  Hearings may be held for violations such as the Village's Vehicle Impound Ordinance, Amplified Sound Ordinance, Animal Control Regulations, Truancy, Disorderly Conduct, Trespassing, and our Automated Red Light Enforcement Program, among others.

Local Administrative Hearings are conducted by a licensed attorney at 4:00 pm in the Police Department’s training room (401 E. Irving Park Road).
