Streamwood Police
Investigate Graffiti and Vandalism Incidents
The Streamwood Police Department is
continuing to investigate a number of graffiti incidents.
Beginning in mid March of this year, the word
“SPARTA” was spray painted in blue or red paint on
garages, signs, and public buildings throughout the community.
Most recently, on Saturday, May 19th,
the graffiti appeared on thirty homes on the south end of the
village.
A witness has described a small, white, 4
door vehicle with four occupants near a home that was
vandalized.
Residents are encouraged to report
suspicious activity by dialing 911 or by leaving information
on the Confidential Tip Line 630-736-3719.
