Streamwood High School Pellet Gun Incident

On Friday January 25, 2008 at approximately 8:30 am a 15 year old male student from Streamwood High School, 701 W. Schaumburg Road Streamwood, IL was walking to his second period class when he displayed a pellet gun to a group of students. One of the witnesses immediately contacted a member of the Streamwood High School staff and advised them of what she observed. The staff member contacted the Deans Office and Streamwood Police Liaison Officer Ed Polaski. Officer Polaski and one of the Deans immediately located the student in question and recovered an unloaded pellet gun in his waist band. The student was placed under arrest and transported to the Streamwood Police Department.
