This holiday season, the Village of Streamwood will again partner with Elgin Recycling for a Holiday Lights Recycling Program. The program will run from Friday, November 7 until Friday, February 20. If you have old holiday lights to recycle, you can drop them off at any of four (4) convenient locations: Village Hall, Public Works, Poplar Creek Public Library, and Park Place Family Recreation Center.

Lights accepted include mini-lights, Italian lights, C7 and C9 lights, rope lights, LED lights, as well as extension cords. Simply place old, broken, and unused lights, cords, and strands in the designated containers.
