Village ADA Transition Plan

Date of Event: Thursday, February 25, 2021

The Village of Streamwood is dedicated to ensuring and protecting the rights of all persons in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and does not discriminate in the provision of its services, programs, and activities.   The Village’s public buildings and rights of way are considered a Village service.  Improved building and right-of-way accessibility provides benefits not only for persons with disabilities, but for the community as a whole.

The Village has conducted a review of its facilities and developed Transition Plans to ensure that accessibility is maintained. On February 16, 2021 the Planning and Zoning Board reviewed and accepted the plan as presented. To review the plan, click here.
