On Tuesday April 14th, the Streamwood Police Department requested the assistance of the Northern Illinois Police Alarm System (NIPAS) to secure a residence on Lincoln Ct. after obtaining a search warrant relevant to a death investigation.
On the evening of Friday, April 10th, the Streamwood Police Department received information from an acquaintance of a 21 year old female resident of the Lincoln Ct. address alleging she (the resident) was the victim of repeated domestic violence.
After numerous immediate attempts to contact the alleged victim, Streamwood Police were able to locate her at her place of employment.
During the subsequent interview, the 21 year old victim disclosed that while she was pregnant last year, she suffered a miscarriage in the course of a domestic violence incident which went unreported to police.
She further alleged that her unborn child’s body was disposed of at the Lincoln Ct. address shortly thereafter.
Streamwood Police Department investigators obtained a search warrant for the property and continue to investigate with the assistance of the Major Case Assistance Team (MCAT).
